RBC to present the 2021 Darpan Extraordinary Achievement Awards on October 15th.

 

DARPAN is proud to announce that Royal Bank of Canada will be the presenting sponsor of DARPAN Awards 2021. “We are excited that RBC is joining us this year in celebrating the achievements of the South Asian community, and helping us put the event together,” say DARPAN Magazine’s publisher Ramneek Dhillon. Now recognized as the most sought-after event of the year, DARPAN awards will bring together the movers and shakers of the community under one roof.


Ten renowned individuals within the South Asian community will be honoured for their remarkable achievements in their respective fields. They will be given the prestigious DARPAN Extraordinary Achievement Award, for contributing greatly towards the Canadian society and encouraging the spirit of community.


Last year, due to the pandemic and health regulations, DARPAN was unable to organize the prestigious event and recognize the hard work and achievements of the South Asian community in BC. The team is excited to present the Awards night which will have many esteemed members of the South Asian community as well as Vancouver’s dignitaries in attendance. The gala will welcome over 500 people comprising of the top social and business elite in the South Asian community.


DARPAN Awards 2021 will take place at Aria Banquet and Convention Centre in Surrey. Nominations for 11th Annual Darpan Awards are now open. ADVANCING PHILANTHROPY - extraordinary achievement of a South Asian in many charitable ventures

HERITAGE DEFENDER - extraordinary achievement of a South Asian in overcoming adversity to represent South Asians

SPIRIT OF SPORT - extraordinary achievement of a South Asian athlete
