Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 14 Mar, 2025 04:46 PM
  • RCMP arrest suspects in shooting in Penticton, B.C.

Mounties in Penticton, B.C., say they've arrested the final two suspects in a shooting in the city earlier this month.

No one was hurt in the shooting and police say one suspect was taken into custody immediately after the incident on March 6, but two other people escaped.

The Emergency Response Team and officers went to a home with a search warrant on Wednesday and arrested one of the suspects without incident.

Police say around the same time, frontline officers went to another location in Penticton and arrested the third suspect.

They say firearms were seized during both of Wednesday's arrests.

Police say all those thought to be responsible for the shooting have been identified and charges are pending.
