  • Serious crash at a main intersection in Surrey impacts traffic for several hours

A serious crash in Surrey has affected the intersection of King George Blvd and 128th Street. The intersection is closed and will remail closed for a few hours. 

Surrey RCMP say the accident happened just before 1 pm on Thursday. The cause of the 3 car crash is unknown. 

The driver of one vehicle and a woman were transported to hospital with serious injuries. Another driver was not seriously injured. 

The third person involved in the crash apparently took off on foot.  Police later found him at a hospital. The nature of his injuries are not known. 

Traffic on the Patullo Bridge has also been impacted as a result of the crash.
