Shooting in Maple Ridge, One Male Dead

    Ridge Meadows RCMP are confirming a man has been the victim of a shooting.

     

    On Friday, December 22nd, at around 6am, Ridge Meadows RCMP responded to multiple calls of shots fired. Subsequently the investigation has revealed a man was shot and died as a result of his injuries.

     

    This appears to be a targeted event and there are no indications of further threats to public safety at this time.

     

     

    IHIT now has jurisdiction over the investigation.

     

    "Subsequently the investigation has revealed a man was shot and died as a result of his injuries,” the agency said.
