Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Fort Nelson region.
It says a Pacific frontal system will bring about 10 centimetres of snow starting this afternoon.
The weather office says the snow will persist until tomorrow morning.
It is warning people travelling through the region to be prepared to adjust driving as visibility may be reduced at times.

The BC Highway Patrol says the incident happened in Fort St. John on Dec. 13, when an officer stopped the 39-year-old woman to check for impaired driving. Police say while the driver was not impaired, she told the officer she could not recall her name, prompting a vehicle search.
