Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Fort Nelson region.
It says a Pacific frontal system will bring about 10 centimetres of snow starting this afternoon.
The weather office says the snow will persist until tomorrow morning.
It is warning people travelling through the region to be prepared to adjust driving as visibility may be reduced at times.
A maximum 20-per-cent home-flipping tax is among a number of new regulations coming into effect in British Columbia starting Jan. 1.
