Saanich Police are investigating a sexual assault in a campus washroom at the University of Victoria.
A safety bulletin issued by the university says the victim was assaulted in a men’s washroom on the first floor of a campus building on Tuesday morning.
The suspect -- described as a “heavy-set” male who was at least sixty years old -- fled after the attack.
The school says the university grounds are patrolled around the clock and campus security will be “closely monitoring” the area where the assault happened.
The 46-year-old Chasing Horse remains behind bars in the U.S. after being formally charged Monday in North Las Vegas with counts including sex trafficking, sexual assault against a child younger than 16, and child abuse.
