Surrey RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance with a suspicious fire investigation. The Surrey RCMP was called to a report of a suspicious vehicle fire in the 7500-block of 140 Street, during the night of June 7, 2020.

Surrey RCMP’s General Investigation Unit (GIU) took conduct of the file and canvassed the surrounding area for video surveillance. Investigators determined the fire began shortly after 11:00 pm on June 7.

As officers continue the investigation, they are asking for dash-cam footage from anyone that was in the surrounding area before or after the fire occurred.
