Surrey RCMP want public assistance in finding the owner of a box of sports tickets

Darpan News Desk Surrey RCMP, 23 Feb, 2021 08:25 PM
  • Surrey RCMP want public assistance in finding the owner of a box of sports tickets

Surrey RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance with locating the owner of a box of sports and music memorabilia dating back 40 plus years.

On October 22, 2020, Surrey RCMP received a report of lost or stolen property which was found in the area 140 Street and 19 Avenue.

Officers were able to locate the owners of many of the recovered items however, among the found property was a box of sporting event and concert tickets that officers have yet to reunite with its owner.

This box of tickets likely holds a sentimental value to the person who lost it or from whom it was stolen, said Sergeant Elenore Sturko. We are grateful to the person who turned these items in to police and hope to find the rightful owner of the property.

We are asking the owner of this property or anyone with information about who the owner might be, to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502. Anyone coming forward to claim the items will be asked to provide detailed descriptions of the contents of the box to confirm ownership
