Targeted Shooting In Surrey's Fraser Heights: Two Men Seriously Injured

Darpan News Desk, 04 Sep, 2019 05:42 PM

Two men were injured after shots were fired in a busy area of Fraser Heights late Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting took place near a school and two daycares in the area of 160 Street and 111 Avenue at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Cpl. Eleanor Sturko says two men were taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

“Currently they are in stable but non-life-threatening injuries,” she says. “We’re still in our early stages of this investigation, but it does not appear to be random, this does appear to be a targeted act.”

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502 or leave an anonymous tip at 1-800-222-TIPS.
