Two Men Die After Being Pulled From Small Lake On Salt Spring Island

    SALT SPRING ISLAND, B.C. — The BC Coroners Service says two men have died after an incident on Weston Lake, just north of Fulford Harbour, on Salt Spring Island.
     
    Coroner Barb McLintock confirms the deaths, but says there are few other details.
     
    The accident happened just before 7 p.m. Tuesday.
     
    Two men in their 20s were pulled from the lake.
     
    Both victims were rushed to hospital in critical condition but could not be saved.
     
    McLintock says more information will be provided when it is available.
