VPD Police Search For Paralyzed Man Missing From Downtown Eastside

    Garry Molyneux-missing personVancouver Police are asking for help to locate a disabled senior last seen Saturday in the Downtown Eastside.

    Garry Molyneux hasn’t been seen since Saturday, when he was spotted at Main and Hastings. He did not return to his care facility, located near 12th Avenue and Ash Street, and police are now concerned for his safety.


    Mr. Molyneux is paralyzed from a stroke. He can’t speak and is confined to a motorized wheelchair. He requires medication for diabetes, and may seem confused or disoriented. He is unable to ask for assistance.


    Mr. Molyneux is white, with fair skin. He is 5’7” with a medium build, short grey hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue jogging pants and a long jacket.


    Anyone who sees Mr. Molyneux is asked to call 9-1-1 and stay with him until first responders arrive.
