Weekend Shooting In Surrey That Injured One Likely Targeted: RCMP

    SURREY, B.C. — Police say a weekend shooting in Surrey, B.C. that left one man with minor injuries was likely targeted.
     
    RCMP say officers responded to reports of gunfire (in the 12300 block of 71 A Avenue) shortly before 2 p.m. on Sunday.
     
    Police say a man was cut by shards of glass after another vehicle shot at his vehicle.
     
    He was treated by an ambulance and released at the scene.
     
     
    Another shooting took place (in the 8300 block of 128th Street) in Surrey around 3 a.m. that same day though no injuries were reported.
     
    Both incidents are under investigation.
