It’s the final countdown to one of the most anticipated nights of the year for the South Asian community in British Columbia, the 2025 DARPAN Extraordinary Achievement Awards, presented by RBC.

This year is extra special as we celebrate the 15th anniversary edition of the awards and 21 years of DARPAN Magazine spotlighting the stories, successes, and contributions of incredible South Asians across the globe. Scroll below to see what’s in store—you won’t want to miss it!

The evening begins with a dazzling red carpet and cocktail hour at 6 PM at the Aria Convention Centre. Expect champagne walls, photo booths, live music, and a sea of glamour as community leaders, icons, and talent gather in style.

Langley R-C-M-P are warning the public about a new attempt to steal bank cards by fraudsters. The scheme includes calling the victim first to warn them someone is trying to tamper with or compromise their card, then arriving at the victim's house to "collect" the tainted card.
