It’s the final countdown to one of the most anticipated nights of the year for the South Asian community in British Columbia, the 2025 DARPAN Extraordinary Achievement Awards, presented by RBC.

This year is extra special as we celebrate the 15th anniversary edition of the awards and 21 years of DARPAN Magazine spotlighting the stories, successes, and contributions of incredible South Asians across the globe. Scroll below to see what’s in store—you won’t want to miss it!

A Star-Studded Affair

Our Guest of Honour remains under wraps for now, but here’s a hint: she’s a global trailblazer whose journey embodies resilience, courage, and pushing human limits. Her presence will leave you inspired, so mark the suspense until Friday, September 19th, when all will be revealed!

Red Carpet Glamour

The evening begins with a dazzling red carpet and cocktail hour at 6 PM at the Aria Convention Centre. Expect champagne walls, photo booths, live music, and a sea of glamour as community leaders, icons, and talent gather in style.

At 7:45 PM, the spotlight shines on ten extraordinary South Asians who are shaping the future and making a difference. This milestone year is a powerful tribute to excellence and a proud moment in DARPAN’s legacy of storytelling.

Electrifying Performances

Get ready to be swept away by the energy of Punjabi music sensation Amrit Maan, whose powerful voice and dynamic stage presence will set the stage on fire. Adding more cultural vibrance to the evening, the Sunehri Arts Club will deliver a breathtaking performance that celebrates South Asian Art through Dance & Dialogue.
