Recognized as the world's foremost cannabis chef, Christopher Sayegh - known as The Herbal Chef - is set to share his adventurous, cannabis-infused dishes with Vancouver diners on April 6 and 7. Sayegh's pop-up experience, whose location will remain a secret until just prior to the event, features a multicourse tasting menu starring local ingredients enhanced by THC and CBD extracts. Curated pairings of B.C. wine, lively music, and Sayegh's reputation as an impeccable and entertaining host assure a memorable evening that takes fine dining to a higher ground.
 
Sayegh has earned global accolades for crafting immersive culinary experiences expertly infused with cannabis. A Michelin-trained chef who has also become an ambassador for the cannabis industry, Sayegh aims to destigmatize marijuana use while shining a spotlight on the origins of ingredients. He is a proponent of educating the public on the multifaceted uses of cannabis in food and for health, including its ability to enhance sensations of taste while increasing appetite. Sayegh's pioneering work has attracted the attention of major media outlets like Vice, Forbes, The Guardian and The Washington Post. His first restaurant, Herb, will open in Los Angeles this year.
 
In the lead-up to Canada's long-awaited legalization of marijuana this July, Sayegh's pop-up in Vancouver will help to spread awareness of the benefits of incorporating cannabis into dining. The event includes an eight-course menu that infuses cannabis into dishes featuring freshly caught seafood, foraged produce, and ingredients sourced from local farmers and growers, complemented by pairings of B.C. wine. The dinner will conclude with a live musical performance created just for the evening. Sayegh's penchant for fostering stimulating conversation and amusing his diners throughout the experience makes for an entertaining evening, heightened by a calculated amount of cannabis scientifically infused to enhance the guest experience without overwhelming the participants.
 
Savegh will host two dinners on consecutive nights, each accommodating up to 60 guests. The dinners will begin at 7pm, and their location will be revealed to ticketholders just prior to the event.
