Our family was separated for six months because my wife and daughter were not able to join me in Canada because of flight restrictions. This was one of the biggest challenges that we faced.

We like the welcoming nature of the country a lot, the local community of Surrey, presence of all the gurudwaras around us. 

I am addressing our Punjabi community which holds such a strong influence and makes you feel really proud of being part of the community

“Not too many people want to take a chance on an immigrant. This is sad, but true,” mentions the marketing professional who worked as an Assistant Marketing Manager in Bangalore, back in India. 

“Our journey so far has been great with many ups and downs.”

“It has been a total cultural and mindset shift for them to adjust into Canadian society. But they overcame this struggle with their strong will, good guidance and help from their school teachers,” explains Manveen.
