19-Year-Old Man Shot Dead In Abbotsford

    On Monday, November 12, 2018, at 3:30 pm, Abbotsford emergency services were called to the intersection of Simpson Rd and Ross Rd for reports of a shooting.

     

    AbbyPD Patrol Division officers arrived on scene and located an injured male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The male victim, a 19 year old Abbotsford resident, was transported to hospital by air ambulance. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.

    The Abbotsford Police Department Major Crime Unit, Patrol Division, Gang Crime Unit, and Forensic Identification Unit remain on scene collecting evidence and speaking to witnesses. This investigation will be transitioning over to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Unit (IHIT).
