229 COVID19 cases over 3 days

There are 229 new COVID cases. 94 Fri to Sat, 90 Sat to Sun and 45 Sun to Monday. For 147,131 total cases. The seven day rolling average is now 97 cases per day. The lowest since September 2, 292 days ago.

77.3% of all adults in B.C. and 75.8% of those 12 and older have now received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. In total, 4,436,432 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in B.C., 935,401 of which are second doses.

There are currently 1,204 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. Of the active cases, 108 individuals are currently hospitalized, 48 of whom are in intensive care.

Some border measures to ease; more vaccine coming

Starting early next month, the travellers who have received shots at least 14 days before coming will still have to take a COVID-19 test on arrival, and have to stay in isolation until the test comes back negative.
