Mounties at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver are searching for a suspect after an attempted robbery with a weapon.
Police say officers responded to an assault near the school's Rose Garden parking structure around 1:30 p-m yesterday, and found a victim suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say their initial investigation has determined the attack was an attempted robbery that led to an altercation and the victim was injured.
They are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
A cyclist has been killed in an accident involving a semi-truck in Surrey. R-C-M-P say officers responded to a report of a crash on Scott Road at 104th Avenue just before eight this morning.
