Police in Prince George say a body has been found near the intersection of highways 97 and 16, southwest of the downtown.
R-C-M-P say officers responded to the call shortly before 9 this morning.
They say the preliminary investigation has not uncovered anything to suggest the death was suspicious in nature.
Mounties say they will work on the case with the B-C Coroners’ Service, which is taking conduct of the investigation.
The federal government says it's kicking in more than $663 million in funding for Metro Vancouver transit infrastructure over the next decade, beginning next year.
