R-C-M-P say a woman's body has been found in Waterfront Park near downtown Kelowna on the shores of Okanagan Lake.
The Mounties say they're working with the B-C Coroners Service to identify the woman and determine the cause of her death.
Her body was found at about 7 o-clock this morning.
R-C-M-P say an update will be provided once available.
The report, published this month by the Institute for Catastrophic Loss Reduction, says scientists found the root cause was "easily ignitable structures and homes, and not just a wildfire problem."
