Mounties say a man has been found dead in Kelowna.
They say officers responded to a report of the body in the area of McCulloch Road at Myra Forest Service Road around 8 a-m Sunday.
Police say they are working alongside the B-C coroner's service to gather information, but did not identify the person.
They say there is no ongoing concern for public safety in relation to the incident.
On Friday afternoon, the man arrived at a Surrey hospital with a gunshot wound and soon after passed away as a result of succumbing to his injuries.
Police responded to the home and learned that two men had gotten into an altercation with the residents and assaulted a man and a woman.
