  • Delays Unclogged In Vancouver After Conveyor Problem Affects U.S. Flights
RICHMOND, B.C. — A rough start to the day for passengers flying to the United States from Vancouver International Airport.

YVR reports the U.S. departures baggage system had mechanical problems early Monday morning.

The breakdown of the luggage conveyors was fixed before 7 a.m., but it delayed several U.S.-bound flights.

Most of those delays had been cleared within an hour and flights were back on schedule.

The airport has not said what caused the problem.
