Delta Police Investigate Non-Fatal Shooting

    At approximately 11:15 a.m. October 24, 2016 the Delta Police responded to a report of shots fired in the 9200 blk of 120th Street in North Delta. Officers arrived on scene and found a lone male victim who had sustained gunshot wound(s). 
     
    The 25 year old male victim was transported to hospital with non- life threatening injuries to his lower body.
     
    Initial information indicated that a suspect vehicle, described only as a dark smaller import, was seen fleeing northbound on 120th Street from the scene.
     
    Although the victim is uncooperative with police, investigators will be thorough in their efforts to determine the circumstances that led to this targeted shooting and identify those responsible.
     
    “Although we are one of BC’s safest communities, today’s incident is a reminder that we are not immune  and that we must continue to work together to maintain a high degree of safety in our community that we all enjoy.” Chief Dubord states.
