Jastinder Athwal Found Dead In North Vancouver Creek

    VANCOUVER — Police say the body of a missing 34-year-old man has been found in a North Vancouver creek.
     
    The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says police were called Sunday about a body in Lynn Creek.
     
    Investigators say the victim was Jastinder Athwal.
     
    He was reported missing Thursday after friends and family had not seen him in a week.
     
    Police are awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death and whether foul play was a factor.
