Vancouver police are investigating the city's latest homicide.
A 34-year-old man was fatally stabbed yesterday afternoon on the city's Downtown Eastside and was found lying on a sidewalk at about 3 p.m.
Police say the sidewalk is enclosed by a construction tunnel and investigators are certain that witnesses saw what happened and can share details of the attack.
No arrests have been made and police haven't said if any suspects have been identified
An officer immediately rendered emergency first aid, applied a police tourniquet, and called for paramedics. The injured man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
