Targeted Shooting In Surrey Leaves 1 Man Dead

    SURREY, B.C. — A recent string of shootings in Surrey continued early Sunday morning with an overnight incident that left a man dead.
     
    Police say they responded to reports of gunfire around 3 a.m. (at the intersection of 126th St. and 88A Ave.).
     
    Officers found a vehicle believed to be linked to the shooting crashed into a nearby utility pole.
     
    A man was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
     
    Police say they believe the shooting was targeted.
     
    This is the 23rd reported shooting in Surrey and North Delta since early March. (Global News)
