  • Vancouver Police approve charges in West End Assault

Charges for aggravated assault were approved on Tuesday against Dorre Love, 42, after he was arrested by Vancouver Police for assault in August. “The VPD thoroughly investigate all allegations of assault and take each one seriously,” says Constable Tania Visintin, VPD.

“Investigators have worked hard and we are pleased to see charges have been approved by Crown counsel.”

Love and another man were preaching along Davie Street on August 22. The victim in this file confronted Love and a physical altercation followed.

The victim was taken to hospital with a broken leg. A warrant has been issued for Love’s arrest.
