  • VPD release suspect photo in assault

Vancouver police have released a photo of a man who they say assaulted a woman and then pointed a gun at a group of people at a SkyTrain station in late August.

Police say officers who responded to the incident the evening of August 24th were unable to locate the man or the victims.

Investigators say the man and a woman got off the train together at Main Street station, where they got into a physical altercation.

When a group of men tried to intervene to help the woman, the suspect reacted by pointing a gun at them.
