Wear your sweatshirt right

Darpan News Desk IANS, 01 Nov, 2014 08:23 AM
  • Wear your sweatshirt right
A sweatshirt is a must-have item in your autumn-winter wardrobe. Mix it up with jeggings or team it up with hot pants to jazz up the look.

Sweatshirts are not only comfortable and cosy, but they can be high on style and apt for different occasions, if worn the right way.

Pop star Rihanna, for example, wore one with a pair of denim cut-offs. Her red lips, blown-out tresses and nude heels ensured a feminine edge to her look, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

You can keep your legs bare or wear something more form-fitting on the bottom to help balance out the look. Another way to style a sweatshirt is to layer it with a white shirt underneath. This will smarten the look.

Try also pairing it with a pair of trousers and heels for work.

Let the bottom of the shirt poke out from the sweatshirt, and the cuffs on the shirt come longer than the arms of it too. A statement necklace will add a glamorous touch to the look.

If you want a look that suits the workplace and a date, try mixing and matching your sweatshirt with a pair of shorts, trousers, mini or midi skirt.
