For fashion-loving teenage girls who enjoy taking selfies but do not want the world to see, Sony has launched a unique perfume bottle-look camera that can be a perfect bag accessory.

The Cyber-shot DSC-KW11 has a "Beauty Effect" mode that can improve the appearance of skin tone and smoothness.

It also has "eye widening" and "face slimming" options so that users can tweak their appearance in photos, media reports said.

The "cap" of the bottle is a wide-angle 21-mm lens that can swivel 180 degrees for easy self-portrait pictures.

The sensor is especially effective when shooting in low-light environments, Sony said.

The camera has a 3.3-inch screen that can be swiped with a thumb to activate the timer mode.

Available in white, pink, green and violet colours, the $811 camera is expected to hit the Asia-Pacific markets in October, reports added.
