Bio:

At just 19, Jeevan Badwal is emerging as one of Canada’s brightest young soccer talents and a source of pride for the South Asian community. Raised in Surrey and shaped by his family’s unwavering support, Jeevan’s journey began at Surrey FC and quickly accelerated through the Vancouver Whitecaps Academy.

A dynamic center midfielder, he is recognized for his strong box-to-box play, ball control, and tactical vision. His career highlights already include playing for Vancouver Whitecaps FC 2, earning a spot on the Canada National U20 team, and starting all three matches for Canada at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup. His selection to the MLS NEXT All-Star Game further solidified his reputation as a rising star.

In 2024, Jeevan made his professional debut with the Whitecaps, and in 2025, he scored his first MLS goal in a 3–0 victory over Seattle Sounders—helping set a new franchise unbeaten record.

With talent, determination, and deep community roots, Jeevan is proving that South Asian athletes can thrive on the global stage and inspire future generations.
