Start early. When we first started planning, about a year and a half ago, we were noticing that a lot of our vendors had “holds” so it was important that we book right away. Spend money on the right things. 

We are both kids at heart. We can laugh together and always have a good time. 

The best thing that we love about each other is the chemistry between us. Regardless of how long or how little time it has been since we met, we get excited every time 

Be truthful and honest. Give each other space and time apart. Talk to each other if something bothers you. Be smart with your finances. A lot of marriages fail because they fight over money. Overall, unconditional love!

We were both part of the opening team of the Shangri-La Hotel, Vancouver. It started with small talk and a big spark in between crazy dinner rushes at the Market restaurant and then a few months later, on April Fool’s Day Justin asked Sameena to dinner at one of his favourite restaurants in Vancouver called La Brasserie.

We met through our mutual friend Sharon Ghuman, and initially met online but never got the chance to meet in person because we both lived far apart. Navi lived in Indianapolis and I lived in Seattle.
